Peers Victoria Resources Society would like to acknowledge the nations of the Songhees and Esquimalt people in whose unceded territories we carry out our work. As an organization, we are committed to addressing the combined effects of colonialism and stigmatization of people in the sex industry.

Peers Victoria acknowledges and respects the rights and self-determination of Indigenous peoples. As an organization, we recognize the ongoing connections between colonialism, and other forms of structural violence, especially as it relates to the stigma, discrimination, and the physical, sexual, and symbolic violence committed against Indigenous people in the sex industry. We are committed to anticolonial social action. We enact anticolonial social action by promoting Indigenous leadership and knowledge within the organization and observing principles of allyship, advocacy, and empowerment-oriented program delivery.
